    Chinese Black Mushroom Soup

    List of Ingredients

    12 medium dried black mushrooms (cinnamon cap or clam shell)
    2 qts beef stock
    1/2 C minced green onion
    1/2 C bamboo sliced shoots
    4 water chestnuts, sliced
    2-3 T soy sauce
    pepper to taste

    Recipe

    Soak mushrooms in lukewarm water for 20 minutes (or according to package directions). Drain saving the liquid. Slice the mushrooms thickly,
    Heat the stock and add reserved liquid. Add all ingredients and serve hot.
