    Chinese Brown gravy

    Recipe Introduction

    This seasoning gravy is used in moderation, usually a few teaspoons at a time.

    List of Ingredients

    1 C strong beef broth
    1/2 chicken bouillon
    4 T sherry
    1 T sugar
    1 T lemon zest, or 3 slices ginger, chopped

    Recipe

    Heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Keep in a container for use. (you can add 1 pound pork or beef and cook 1 hour. Remove meat and use elsewhere) Add stock to make one and one half pints.
