    Ga Lay Ngow Yoke-(curry beef)

    List of Ingredients

    1 tsp sugar
    1 oz curry powder (to taste)
    1 small red pepper
    1 T soy sauce
    2 cloves garlic, diced
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 small piece ginger, smashed
    1 pound stewing beef
    3 T coconut oil
    3 medium potato, in 1 1/2 inch cube
    5 oz coconut milk


    Recipe

    Saute the onion and garlic until tender and just browned. Add curry powder, pepper and ginger, cook 2-3 minutes. Add the meat and saute 5 minutes. Pour this into a sauce pan and add coconut milk and 2 cups water. Simmer 15 minutes, add potatoes and simmer meat is tender. Adjust seasonings.
    Serve hot with rice.
    Var; use chicken.
