    Gu Lo Yoke-(pork)

    List of Ingredients

    1 egg
    1 pound pork, in bite size pieces
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 T flour
    1 medium cucumber, cut up, cut up
    1 large tomato
    2 bell peppers, cut up
    4 slices pineapple, cut up
    peanut oil for frying
    Sauce;
    1 C sugar
    1 1/3 C water
    3 T oil
    2/3 C malt vinegar
    4 T cornstarch
    salt to taste
    4 T soy sauce

    Recipe

    Whip the egg and mix with the flour and 1/2 tsp salt. Dredge the meat. Fry the pork in the peanut oil until brown and crisp. Drain well.
    Drain all but 1 tablespoon oil and saute the vegetables, fruit and pork for 1 minute, salted to taste.
    Sauce, combine all and cook while stirring until translucent. pour sauce over pork and serve.
