1/4 tsp salt
1/4 C milk
2 T cornstarch
2 thin slice ginger root, to taste
1 T rice vinegar or sherry
2 T oil
1/2 C crab meat
4 C soup stock
1 3/4 C corn of the cob
2 egg whites, whipped slightly
Recipe
Heat the stock, add ginger, vinegar or sherry, oil and salt. Bring to a boil. Puree 3/4 cup of the corn in blender. Add remaining ingredients and the corn. Omit the milk if you want a thick soup.
