    BUTTER, ORANGE CHIVE

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 orange
    • 1/2 C butter, at room temperature
    • 2-3 T snipped mint leaves
    • 1 T snipped chives
    • 1 tsp freshley ground black pepper
    • 1 tsp sea salt


    Instructions


    1. Remove orange zest with a zester or a sharp paring knife. Set aside. Cut orange in half and squeeze juice into a measuring cup.

    2. In a food processor, combine 2-3 tablespoons orange juice with the zest, and remaining ingredients. pulse until thoroughly combined.

    3. Spread butter into a serving container and chill, or place on a sheet of plastic wrap. Shape into a log, and twist the ends to seal.Place in the fridge to harden. Slice off desired amount and return the rest to fridge.

    4. Keeps several days, chilled , or freeze for up to a month.
