BUTTER, ORANGE CHIVE

- 1 orange
- 1/2 C butter, at room temperature
- 2-3 T snipped mint leaves
- 1 T snipped chives
- 1 tsp freshley ground black pepper
- 1 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Remove orange zest with a zester or a sharp paring knife. Set aside. Cut orange in half and squeeze juice into a measuring cup.
- In a food processor, combine 2-3 tablespoons orange juice with the zest, and remaining ingredients. pulse until thoroughly combined.
- Spread butter into a serving container and chill, or place on a sheet of plastic wrap. Shape into a log, and twist the ends to seal.Place in the fridge to harden. Slice off desired amount and return the rest to fridge.
- Keeps several days, chilled , or freeze for up to a month.
