    Orange-Port Cranberry Sauce

    Finely grate zest from one orange and set aside. Juice the orange into a liquid measuring cup and add enough port to measure 1 cup. Pour into a saucepan along with 1 cup sugar and bring to a boil over medium high heat, stirring to dissolve sugar. Add a 12 ounce bag of cranberries and cook, stirring until the berries burst, about 5 minutes. Simmer, stirring, until liquid is reduced, about 5 minutes. remove from heat and stir in zest, let cool before serving.Can be frozen, covered. Thaw in fridge overnight if frozen.
