Ice box, Brown Sugar Crisps

List of Ingredients

2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 C brown sugar, packed
1 C butter
1 T vanilla
3 1/2 C unsifted flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 C finely chopped walnuts


Recipe

cream eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and add to the egg mixture. Blend well. add nuts.

Divide dough in half. Roll each half into a 2 inch log. Wrap in waxed paper. Chill overnight.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Slice cookies 1/4 inch thick and place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool on racks.
