Recipe Introduction

Cookie Press. Bake 8-10 minutes. Yield 4 dozen

List of Ingredients

1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 squares (2 ounces) unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
21/2 cups sifted cake flour
1/2 teaspoon baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup milk or cream





Recipe

Cream shortening, sugar until light, fluffy. Add chocolate, egg. vanilla; beat well. Sift flour, soda, salt together. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture; blend. Place cooky dough in Cooky Press; make desired shapes on ungreased Cooky Sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes in hot (400 degree.) oven.
Yield: 4 dozen.
