List of Ingredients

3/4 C butter
1 1/2 C sugar
1 egg
1/2 C sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
3 C sifted flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder


Recipe

Cream sugar and butter, add egg, beating until fluffy. Stir in sour cream and vanilla. Sift flour, salt, soda and baking powder. Stir into butter mixture. Chill at least 1 hour. Place small balls on cookie sheets. Press into thin circles with bottom of a glass, greased and dipped in sugar. If desired press 3 raisins or walnut halves on top of each. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees until lightly browned.
