List of Ingredients
1 C sugar
1 C lard and butter
2 eggs
1/2 C molasses
1 C boiling coffee
1 tsp baking soda dissolved in hot coffee
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
flour sufficient to make batter, like cake
Recipe
Combine all and spread batter in a large dripping pan to less than 1/2 inch thick. Bake 20-30 minutes at 325 degrees F. Cool and cut into shapes or squares. Ice and store in jars as you would cookies.
