Recipe Introduction

Cookie press. 400-425 degree oven. bake 10-12 minutes. Make 8 dozen.

List of Ingredients

1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 1/4 cups flour


Recipe

Cream shortening and sugar. Add lemon juice and rind, and beaten egg. Add flour sifted with salt and soda. Force through cooky press to form desired shapes. Bake at 400-425 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
