    Hand formed, Nutcracker Cookies

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/2 C sugar
    1/2 C melted shortening
    1 tsp soda dissolved in 1/2 C hot water
    1/2 c ground nuts
    1/2 C ground raisins
    2 C flour

    Recipe

    Mix in order given, roll into balls the size of a walnut. Press with a fork and bake at 325 degrees F. until brown.
