You can do this with a variety of cookies.

List of Ingredients

Marmalade, enough for about 2 dozen cookies
Chocolate dip;
5-6 ounces bittersweet chocolate


Recipe

Sandwich cookies together with the marmalade. Melt the chocolate and cool to a manageable temperature. Dip the cookie sandwiches half way up the cookie. Place on waxed paper to cool and set. You can sandwich shapes of cake this way, or use ladyfingers if preferable.

To make Othellos and Desdemonas; Drop ladyfinger batter in rounds. Bake, cool, spread flat side with lemon or orange filling, or jelly. press together in pairs. To make othellos frost with chocolate butter frosting. To make desdamonas frost with a plain butter frosting tinted a delicate pink. Let stand until dry.
