Recipe Introduction

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Makes 6 dozen.

List of Ingredients

2 C sugar
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp mace
4 C flour
4 eggs
4 tsp rose water
about 1/2 C melted butter


Recipe

Mix the sugar and nutmeg. Sift mace and flour together.
Beat eggs until light and add rosewater. Combine dry ingredients. add the butter to make a stiff dough. Roll and chill overnight. Cut thin slices and bake 12 minutes
