3/4 cup Sugar
1/4 C butter
1 egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/3 C Flour
1 teaspoon powder
2 tablespoons milk
1 tsp vanilla
Recipe
Cream butter and add sugar gradually, while beating constantly; then add egg, well beaten.combine dry ingredients. Add flour mixture. Pat out in a well-greased and slightly floured tin sheet to one-eighth inch in thickness, then sprinkle with chopped nuts and bake in a moderate oven. Cut in strips 2x4 inches while warm and shape on cone or rolling pin.
