    3/4 cup shortening
    3/4 cup confectioners sugar
    1 tablespoon peanut butter
    1 egg
    2 cups sifted flour
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt

    Recipe

    Cream shortening and sugar. Add peanut butter, egg and vanilla. Gradually add flour sifted with salt, baking powder and nutmeg. Force through cookie press to form desired shapes. Bake at 400-425 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
