1/2 pound butter
2 C flour
1/2 pound chedder cheese, grated
dash hot pepper sauce
Pecan halves
egg yolk
Coarse saltRecipe
Preheat oven to four hundred and twenty five degrees.
Blend butter with flour. Add cheese and hot pepper sauce. Roll out to one eighth inch thickness. Cut into rounds. Top with a pecan half and brush with egg yolk. Sprinkle with coarse salt Bake 10-12 minutes
Note; This is the recipe as I found it. egg yolk won't brush well unless you add a little bit of water to it. Beat it well with a fork.
