Rye Melba Crackers

Recipe Introduction
Make or use a loaf of fresh Sourdough rye bread.
As soon as the bread is done, chill it in the fridge. Remove crusts and slice the loaf 1/8th inch thick. Spread out in one layer on a cookie sheet. Bake at 250 degrees F. until dried and crisp.
Note; Cut to size before baking.
Herbed rye brush for Melba crackers,
1 tsp dried marjoram
(2 T fresh)
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 C butter, melted
Brush over the melba toast and return to the oven for 10 minutes.
