1 pound dried fruit
3 1/2 C dry white wine
1 C brandy
2 C sugarRecipe
Place fruit in a large glass jar. Add wine, brandy and sugar. Stir to blend. Cover. Let stand at room temperature for a week, stirring daily to dissolve sugar. Fruit flavor of wine develops in 3-4 weeks. Remove fruit at 6 weeks and add fresh. The alcohol keeps indefinitely, if not served with the fruit.
