Roll out 8 ounces base pastry dough 3/8 inch thick, to a 10x20 oblong. than cut in half. (use half for Paris wreath and half for apple wreath if desired). On the lower half of the Paris wreath dough spread a good layer of remonce, then vanilla creme, leaving 1/2 on edge. fold 3/4 inch of the dough on one edge over on the top. The upper edge is folded over to cover that. Cut at 1 inch intervals along one edge only. place on the cookie sheet in a circle and seal the edges. Cover and leave to rise for 45 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 400"F. Brush with the egg wash and sprinkle with almonds. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden. Cool.
