1 1/2 C sago (or tapioca)
1/2 lemon, sliced
1/2 C raisins
4 eggs
1 C sugar
juice of 1 lemon
white wineRecipe
Bring 2 1/2 quarts of water to a boil, add sago gradually, stirring continuously so it will not stick. Add lemon sliced thin and cut into small pieces. Add raisins and cook until done. Put eggs in a large bowl and beat, add sugar and beat until well mixed. When all is ready add to the egg mixture the lemon juice and a glass of white wine. pour sago mixture over beaten eggs, stirring constantly until smooth. serve either hot or cold.
