    Recipe Introduction

    Carrageen is Irish moss Take half an ounce of carrageen and wash it in 3 waters. Drain and add 2 quarts of milk. Boil it a few minutes. Strain and save the liquid. Wet your molds and pour the hot carageen liquid in. Let it stand until thickened. Chill until the next day and serve with sugar and cream flavored with peach or rose water. Lemon rolled in sugar is also good.
