- 2 C fresh sweet cherries
- 2 T + 1/4 C sugar, divided
- 1/4 C + 2 T all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, room temperature
- 1/2 C milk, room temperature
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Place the cherries in a 9 inch glass pie pan. combine the remaining ingredients, except 1/4 of a cup of sugar, in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the cherries and sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup sugar. Bake until golden and puffed, about 35 minutes.
- Serve hot.
