List of Ingredients

1 C coarsley cut dates
1 C dry bread crumbs
1/2 C Karo and maple syrup, mixed
1/4 C melted butter
2 eggs slightly beaten
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 C chopped walnuts
1 tsp vanilla
3 C hot milk


Recipe

Add bread crumbs to hot milk. Set aside to cool. Add all other ingredients. Bake in greased baking dish at 300 for 1 hour, or steam for 2 hours. Test as for custard. Serve hot or cold.
