    This also makes a great sandwich spread. Add sliced red bell pepper rings, sliced cucumbers, onion rings, tomatoes, and, or grated carrots on top of the spread. Excellent on 8 grain bread.

    List of Ingredients




    1 19-oz can garbanzo beans, drained
    4 T fresh lemon juice
    1 tsp minced garlic
    1/2-1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp ground cumin
    2 T olive oil
    2 T raw tahini

    Recipe



    Process all until smooth. Place in a bowl and garnish with anything from 1 rounded T chopped kalamata olives, to diced red bell pepper or sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil.
    Keeps for 3-4 days, covered, in the fridge.
