    Serves 8-10


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 1/2 Pounds of canned salmon
    • 1 15- 1/2 ounce can tomatoes, strained
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 T sugar
    • 1 tsp pickling spice
    • 1 medium onion chopped
    • 2 T butter


    Instructions


    1. Drain liquid from salmon and add it to the strained tomatoes, salt, sugar and pickling spices.
    2. bring to a boil and strain.
    3. saute onion in butter until tender but not brown. addstrained tomato mixture.
    4. Rmove any outside skin from salmon, cut in slices. lay slices in tomato mixture and simmer for 30 minutes.
