List of Ingredients
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 Tolive oil
- 2 tsp flour
- 1 pound baby okra, trimmed
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 3 plum tomatoes, peel and chop
- 1/2 C yogurt
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Saute chopped onion in oil. until translucent. Srinkle with flour. cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add okra, three cups hot water, salt and paprika.Cook covered on medium heat for twenty minutes. Add tomatoes and cook 10 minutes, or until okra is tender.
- While soup cooks. pour yogurt into a tureen or serving bowl, and beat in egg. pour soup in. stir and season with pepper.
