1 T butter
2 T flour
1 quart milk
1 C peanut butter
1/2 tsp salt
2-3 T sherry

Melt butter, blend in flour and heat until mixture bubbles, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add milk gradually, stirring constantly. Return to heat and bring to a raped boil, stirring constantly. Cook 1-2 minutes.
Gradually stir this white sauce into the peanut butter.Return to the saucepan. Add salt and bring to heat.
Just before serving add the sherry. Serve in heated cups. Garnish each with a dollop of whipped cream (fresh whipped cream without sugar) and crumbled and crisp bacon.
