    Lumpiang shanghai (Pork egg rolls)

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound ground beef
    • 3/4 C finely chopped shrimp
    • 1 C minced water chestnut
    • 3 green onion, finely sliced
    • 2 eggs, beaten
    • 2 T soy sauce
    • salt and pepper to taste


    Instructions


    1. Beat the eggs with the soy sauce. Combine all and wrap in egg roll wrappers, seal fry in oil until golden brown.



    Final Comments


    Sweet and sour sauce;
    1/2 C ketchup
    1/3 C honey
    1/8 tsp chili pepper
    Simmer 2-3 minutes
