4 quarts flour
8 tsp salt

Mix flour and salt together. Add enough water to make a stiff dough, mixing while pouring in the water. Knead the dough until it is soft. Let stand 10-15 minutes. Divide into balls and roll into very thin disks. Fry in hot deep fat (365 degrees F), until very brown on both sides.
