Nettle Soup

Wash about 2 pints of young nettle tops in several waters and then place in a pan with 2 pints stock. Boil gently for half an hour. rub through a sieve and return the puree to the pan. Thicken with a tablespoon of flour stirred into a cup of milk. Add a teaspoon of chopped chives and a spoon of chopped parsley. Simmer 5 minutes and season with salt and pepper. serve with slices of hard boiled egg.
