List of Ingredients
1 can tomatoes, or 1 pound tomatoes cut up
2 cups fish stock
3 T bacon fat
2 medium onions chopped
1/2 C chipped celery
2 T flour
1/4 dry sherry
salt to taste
pressed garlic to taste
1 bay leaf

melt bacon fat in large skillet. saute onion. Add flour and brown carefully. Add rest of ingredients except wine . Simmer 1/2 hour.
Place 1 pound pieces of cod in pan and cook about 15-20 minutes or until fish flakes easily. Add sherry and serve.
