2 slices walleye pike, 3/4 pound each
1/3 C white wine, or 1 T lemon juice
1/3 C heavy cream
1/2 pound mushrooms
salt and pepper
white sauceRecipe
Season fish, pour wine over and allow to stand 1/2 hour. Drain and dip each piece in heavy cream and then flour. Fry in deep fat. Arrange on serving platter and cover with mushrooms fried in butter. Top with white sauce.
