    Cranberries, Blackberries, boysenberries, loganberries and raspberries only need to be placed in feezer containers and frozen. Thaw in the freezer container. If you are using the berries for a decorative topping on (say) scones or cakes, freeze them on a cookie sheet, spread out and not toching, Transfer to baggies when frozen, they will hold their shape better
    Add sugar after freezing as desired.
    Remove cranberries from the freezer 1 hour before using in recipes.

    Goose berries; Remove the top and tail from each berry. Pack in heavy plastic bags or freezer containers and freeze. thaw in the freezer container.

    Blueberries, huckleberries and lingonberries; Place in heavy plastic bags, (or freezer containers), and shake the bags occasionally for the first 2 hours of freezing to avoid lumping. Use them partially thawed in recipes.

    Strawberries;
    Hull the berries and freeze whole or sliced in amounts desired. If freezing whole berries, freeze them on a cookie sheet in one layer, not touching each other and transfer to freezer containers or baggies. Sliced or pureed berries can be frozen in bags or freezer containers with sugar as desired.
