1-1/2 cups brown sugar firmly packed.
1-1/2 cups milk
2 tbls. butter
1-1/2 cups white sugar
Recipe
Combine brown and white sugar and milk. Bring to a boil without stirring until a small amount of syrup forms a very soft ball in cold water. Add butter and remove from heat. Cool to lukewarm, then beat until right consistency to spread. Hold over hot water to keep soft while spreading.
