    List of Ingredients

    Cook 4 cups sugar
    2 cups hot water
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    Cook to a temperature of 226 degrees,cool to lukewarm,110 degrees and add 1 tsp. vanilla. Stir in confectioner's sugar (sifted) until frosting is of consistency to pour (about 3 cups) tint if desired. Place small cakes on rack with cookie sheet underneath - pour icing over cakes. Decorate if desired.
