1/3 C sugar
1/3 C brown sugar
1/3 C water
1 T Karo syrup
1 egg white
1/4 tsp cream of tartar

Cook the sugar, brown sugar, water and syrup to soft ball stage (236 degrees). Beat the egg white and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form. Add syrup mixture to egg white in slow steady stream, beating constantly until thick enough to spread.
