1 rabbit
bacon
flour
butter or fat
salt
pepper

Quarter the rabbit. Lard the rabbit.(Strip with strings of bacon sewed through pieces of meat.)
Roll in flour and brown in butter or other fat.
Season with salt and pepper. Add milk very slowly, just enough to keep it from sticking, and cook until tender.
Make gravy in pan by adding flour. Flavor with onion juice if desired.

Add sliced onions to cover meat, 1 cup sour cream and cook covered until tender.
