    List of Ingredients




    1 Squirrel
    1 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp pepper
    1/2 C flour
    3 slices bacon, chopped
    1 T onion
    1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
    1/3 C broth

    Recipe



    Disjoint the squirrel and cut into 6-7 pieces. Season with salt and pepper and roll in flour. Fry with chopped bacon for 30 minutes.
    Add onion, lemon juice and broth. Cover tightly and cook for slowly for 3 hours or until tender.

    Var; Add 1 T paprika, one eighth cayenne, 1 sliced sour apple and 2 C broth instead of bacon and lemon juice.
