    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 -2 pounds venison
    5 strips bacon
    1 egg slightly beaten
    salt
    pepper
    2 T fat

    Filling;
    1/2 V cream cheese
    1/2 C blue cheese
    2 T grated onion
    2 T parsley, minced
    1 T lemon juice
    salt
    pepper

    Recipe



    Force the venison and bacon through the food chopper using fine plate. Grind twice. Add egg, salt and pepper to taste and form into 12 patties.
    Combine all ingredients for filling. try to leave the blue cheese as much in chunks as possible.
    Place 1 teaspoon or more of filling on half of the patties almost to the edges. Place other half of patties on top and press to seal the edges closed. Brown on both sides in hot fat, and cook to doneness desired. Serve as is with vegetables and potatoes on the side, or use in buns as a burger with 2 slices fried bacon on top, lettuce, tomatoe etc....and thin slices of avocado.

    Filling 2;
    1/2 C softened butter
    2 T freshly chopped basil
    1 T freshly minced thyme
    1 T freshly chopped parsley
    salt and pepper to taste
