    Mole, Chile -(pepper chocolate sauce)

    List of Ingredients

    1/2 pound ground salt pork
    2 pounds ground steak
    1 T chili powder
    2 tsp sugar
    salt to taste
    2 T flour
    1 clove garlic, sliced
    3 T vinegar
    1 T ground dark chocolate

    Recipe

    Heat salt pork in the kettle, when sufficient fat is tried-out (rendered) add beef and brown quickly. Add chili powder, sugar, salt, flour, garlic, vinegar and chocolate. Cover with water, adjust lid lightly and simmer until meat is tender, about 1 hour. Gravy may be thickened if desired.
