List of Ingredients
1 leg of spring lamb
3 cloves garlic
1 handful pine nuts
2 T olive oil
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tsp ground red chilies
1/8 tsp dried ginger
1/8 tsp dried cloves
1 shot brandy
1 C red wine
1 1/2 C finely chopped parsley
Steamed potatoes
Recipe
Puree the sauce ingredients in a small food processor. pour over the lamb and marinate the lamb leg up to 8 hours. Spooning more over it from time to time.
Roast at 350 degrees F. for 20 minutes per pound of lamb, Or 30 minutes for mutton leg. baste occasionally.
Serve with steamed new potatoes. (I like the purple ones best with this.)
