List of Ingredients
- 1 and one quarter pounds of shrimp, peel and devein
- kosher or sea salt
- 1 C olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- pinch of red pepper flakes
- 2-3 T minced fresh flat leaf parsley
- rustic bread
Instructions
- Pat shrimp dry and sprinkle with salt.
- put olive oil and garlic in 10-11 inch heavy skillet over medium low heat. Cook the garlic in olive oil for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Add red pepper flakes and stir a few seconds.
- Add the shrimp and cook about 3 minutes or until they just begin to turn pink. Season to taste, add parsley and cook a few seconds.
- serve with the rustic bread to mop up all the juices.
Final Comments
You can also use clams or mushrooms.
