Ice Cream, Lime-buttermilk

- 1 C whipping cream
- 1/2 C superfine (bakers) sugar
- 3 C buttermilk
- finely grated zest of one lime
- 1 T fresh lime juice
Instructions
- Place craem in a medium bowl. Add the sugar 1/4 cup at a time, whisking between additions. Add the buttermilk, lime zest and juice, and fold to combine.
- Process in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturers instructions, adding an extra 5 minutes to make sure it is well frozen.
- Freeze. Take out 20 minutes before serving, because the lower butterfat will make it turn very hard
