1 1/2 C sugar
2 T flour
1/2 tsp salt
3 eggs, beaten
1 quart whole milk
1/2 pint whipping cream
1 T vanilla extract
6 C chopped peaches
1 C sugar (put over chopped peaches)
Recipe
Combine the 1 1/2 C sugar, flour and salt. Add eggs and blend well. Add milk and cook slowly until thickened. Let cool. Add whipping cream, vanilla and sweetened peaches (juice too). Pour into freezer and freeze, following manufacturers directions.
Yield 1 gallon.
