Change a sweet milk to sour milk

1/2 tsp baking soda is the equivelent in leavening property of 2 tsp baking powder. 1 cup sour milk requires 1/2 tsp baking soda. Therefore, if a recipe requires 3 tsp baking-powder and 1 cup sweet milk, it may be changed to a sour milk recipe by using 1 tsp baking -powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda and 1 cup sour milk.
