    Pizza Con Mozzarella E Prosciutto

    Recipe Introduction

    Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

    List of Ingredients

    1 recipe pasta per pizza (pizza dough)
    1/2 pound thinly sliced prosciutto
    olive oil
    1 pound mozzarella cheese

    Recipe

    Prepare the dough and pat out into a cookie sheet with sides.
    Cut the prosciutto to 1 inch squares and spread out on the pizza dough.
    Grate the mozzarella and sprinkle on the pizza.
    bake 20 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before cutting into squares.

    Pasta Per Pizza

    5 C unbleached flour
    2 packages yeast
    2 C warm water
    1 tsp salt
    olive oil

    Mound the flour on a pastry board and make a well in it. Pour the yeast powder in and add salt. add a little water to the well. and start stirring with a fork. As it gathers flour and a paste begins to form, add more water, stirring and adding until the water is used.
    Start working with your hands (this will be difficult, (but after 2 minutes it will begin to take on a shape.) Knead and continue taking up flour until smooth and warm. after 15 minutes it should be smooth.
    Put a teaspoon of olive oil in a bowl and roll the ball to coat. Cover and let rise.
    Punch down dough and flatten. Roll into 4 rectangles to fit cookie sheets with edges 1/2 inch high (10x15).
    This freezes well.
