Pour a batch of polenta into small bread pans, or use left over for 1 pan. Chill until it is solid enough to slice.
Slice about 1/2 inch thick and fry in hot oil, until golden and crisp. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese, or top with muenster or mozzarella and bake 20 minutes (also can broil at 400 degrees F.). Caution, very hot. You can also top it with marmalade.
You can also use the thickened broth from bullito misto served on the polenta, as well as in capelletti.
