Mushroom and tomato sauce.
List of Ingredients
1/4 C olive oil
4 garlic cloves, crushed
1 handful parsley, chopped fine
1 tsp fresh marjoram
1 pound sliced mushrooms
2 C canned Roma tomatoes, chopped
salt
freshly ground pepperRecipe
Heat the oil in a large fry pan and saute garlic, parsley and marjoram for 1 minute. Add mushrooms and cook over moderate heat for 5 minutes or until tender. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cook over high heat 8-10 minutes or until sauce starts to thicken, mashing the tomatoes gently with a fork. Makes enough for 1 pound pasta.
